As The Voice’s newest coach some may be unfamiliar with Ariana Grande’s singing chops.
But as we take a look back at Grande’s career, well it’s been, Grande! Take her performance in 2014 at the White House during an event hosted by The Obamas.
The event titled, In Performance at the White House: Women of Soul, featured Grande, the late Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Melissa Etheridge, Jill Scott, and Janelle Monae.
Grande took a bold move to perform Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” which not everyone can do. Although Ariana was noticeably nervous she nails the performance and receives a standing ovation from the President and the First Lady.
