In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Blanco Brown opened up about a motorcycle crash that should’ve ended his life, but didn’t.
Brown’s life was changed in August 2020 when he decided to take a ride on his motorcycle, which wasn’t out of the ordinary. During his ride he said that he saw lights coming toward him and the next thing he knew, he was in the hospital. Brown was hit head on.
The singer’s pelvis, both legs, both arms, and both wrists were broken. He was in surgery for 12 hours and ended up staying in the hospital for a month.
Due to COVID-19, he said he wasn’t allowed to have visitors and didn’t have his phone so all he could do was lay there.
It has been seven months since Brown’s accident, and he said “That’s one thing I learned – don’t let anything break my spirit. I broke all my bones, but I ain’t break my spirit”.
