Cardi B deactivates her Instagram

Cardi B attends the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on February 10, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

After becoming the first solo female artist ever to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album, Cardi B has deactivated her Instagram.

So far there is no explanation given on why she pulled the plug on the account. This comes after Cardi posted a video pushing back on haters who said that she didn’t deserve to with the Grammy for “Best Rap Album”. We disagree and the video has now gone viral.

In the video she says, “I’m seeing a lot of b******* today and I saw a lot of s*** last night, and I’m sick of this s***,” a clearly angry Cardi said. “I work hard for my motherf****** album. I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow’ and everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed.’ Now this year’s a f****** problem?”

During her acceptance speech, Cardi went into how she had worked really hard leading up to the album’s release mentioning that she had to pull triple duty to get songs finished in the studio and different videos filmed while she was pregnant and before the birth of sweet little Kulture.

Cardi went on to mention, “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else,” said Cardi. “That’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with. I don’t support that.”

As of this morning, Cardi’s Twitter account is still active, and everything there seems to be sunshine and rainbows….so far.
