How To Grocery Shop During a Pandemic

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - MARCH 20: Shoppers form a line around the side of a Smith's Food & Drug as they wait for the store to open on March 20, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The grocery store chain is reserving the first hour they are open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for senior citizen shoppers to help them get supplies in light of the coronavirus outbreak. The Center for Public Healthy Initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania are sharing tips on how to safely shop for food:

Plan ahead – Don’t wait last minute until you are completely out of something.

Crowded Stores – Try coming back at a different time to avoid others in a close distance.

Make a List – Ideally you want to have a list to avoid lingering and picking for items at a slow pace.

Disinfecting Wipes – Bring your own… store wipes are continuously touched by customers.
