Jaime Foxx Is The Lead In Pixar’s New Movie

It looks like Pixar is trying to give us the feels again. A preview trailer for their new movie Soul has been released.

Jamie Foxx voices a middle-school teacher looking to live out his dream of playing jazz. Tina Fey’s character tries to help him get to a place where he can achieve those dreams.

“What do you want to be remembered for?” is the central premise of the movie. Jaime Foxx’s character ‘Joe Gardner’ gets in an accident that causes his soul to be separated from his body. He is transported to the “You Seminar,” an ethereal center where souls are refined before being sent off to human bodies.

Pete Docter, best known for Pixar hits including “Monsters Inc.,” “Up” and “Inside Out,” is directing the film and the voice cast also includes Questlove, Phylicia Rashad and Daveed Diggs.
