Taylor Swift already won a Brit Award. The “Evermore” singer was awarded the Global Icon Award, which is the highest honor an artist can achieve.
Swift is the first non-English artist to win the award. Previous winners of the Global Icon Award include Elton John, David Bowie, and Robbie Williams.
The award was given to Taylor, “in recognition of her immense impact on music across the world and incredible repertoire and achievements to date.”
Taylor is also nominated for “International Female Solo Artist” which she won in 2015. The Brit Awards will be held on May 11th at the O2 Arena in London.
